2024 Update
Introducing Zac’s Maternity Support for women
The economic hardship in the country continues to have undesirable effect on people’s lives.
Basic daily needs such as accommodation, transport, feeding and family needs has become a herculean task
To this end, a new service has been introduced to support pregnant women who cannot afford to look after themselves during this vulnerable period.
The Foundation’s management team came up with criteria to be used in assessing those that qualify for the financial support.
Working in partnership with nursing staff at our focus health centres, the Foundation aims to extend the support to ten women at any point in time. Presently, the maternity support has been extended to seven women with the hope taking on more women soon.
