2017 Update

Donation of a rechargeable desktop fetal doppler

The Foundation has maintained support for Awoyaya Primary Health Centre (PHC) since the grand commissioning in May, 2016.
To round up 2017, the Foundation donated a rechargeable desktop fetal doppler (sonicaid) specifically for the delivery room amongst other consumables to the PHC.

Summary of Statistics as recorded by the PHC for 2017.

Total general out-patient  – 4172.

Maternal health services:

Women seen – 2,107

Referrals to general hospital – 79

Number of deliveries – 374

Still births – 0

Post natal attendance – 570

Infant welfare clinic – 6241

Immunisation given-13630

The Foundation appreciates the staff who work tirelessly to provide healthcare services for our people.

Update on the Twins

The Foundation has remained in contact with the twins who are now over three years old and are enrolled in a nursery school. They are still being cared for by their maternal grandmother and aunt.
