2015 Update
Awoyaya Primary Health Centre is changing!
Awoyaya Primary Health Centre as we know is being replaced by a new building under construction.
After years of deliberation, Ibeju-Lekki local government, under a new leadership , finally yielded to appeals for a bigger and modern facility to cope with the large number of patients from the seven communities the PHC caters for.
The construction has made it necessary to move staff and patients to a temporary place nearby. If things go according to plan, the new PHC will be commissioned on or before 30th September,2015.
Also, there are plans by the local government to extend the nurse’s apartment constructed by the Foundation.
